Nature Journalling Workshop
If you love art and nature or want to develop a deeper connection to the natural world, through drawing and creativity then this fun and practical session is for you.
I will guide you through step by step demonstrations of various watercolour painting techniques for adding your observations into your journal. We will work on developing observational painting skills as well as encouraging you to think outside the box in how a sketchbook or nature journal can be used.
Keeping a nature journal or sketchbook of observations is a fun and creative way of learning, collecting and organizing your observations and thoughts you do not need to be an artist or naturalist to enjoy this session.
*Please raid your gardens and bring along some flowers and other natural treasures! You’re welcome to ramble through my garden also.
We’ll be painting on watercolour paper and learning some skill. This workshop is intended to inspire you to start a journal of your own!
If you’ve got it, bring your plant knowledge!! I only have painting knowledge- but I do have a groovy plant identifying app we can use if you want to get all sciency and identify your beauties!

“Such a fulfilling Saturday morning spent painting at Ventana. Brilliant host, she made us all feel so welcome, made it easy to put the paint to canvas. Definitely going back.”
